Last updated: July 2, 2026
BYAD Tech respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains what personal information we collect through our website, applications, and related services (the "Services"), why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. In this Policy, "personal information" means any information that identifies or makes an individual identifiable.
1. Amendments to this Policy
We may periodically update this Policy as we update or expand the Services. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Services before the changes take effect. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Services before the modified Policy takes effect; continued use after that date means you accept the amended Policy. We may also provide just-in-time disclosures or additional information about the data practices of specific Services.
2. Information collected through the Services
A. Information you provide directly and voluntarily.
- Customer support information: information you provide when you contact our support or technical teams, including through the contact and suggestions forms (name, email address, and the content of your message).
- Social media account information: if you sign up with a social media account, we only require the email address associated with that account; any other information you choose to share is voluntary.
- Profile information: details you add to a profile such as an avatar, nickname, date of birth, or country.
- Your content: content you create, post, upload, or share, such as photos, media, and files, when you grant the relevant permissions.
B. Information collected automatically.
- Device information: general location (not precise geolocation), device brand and model, operating system, screen size and resolution, system version, connection type, RAM, advertising ID, and other device identifiers and settings.
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies: interactions with the Services such as content and ads shown and clicked, URLs visited, notifications, IP address, mobile country code, and user ID.
- Network information: network type such as mobile network or Wi-Fi connection.
You may be able to limit the information collected from your device by adjusting device or browser settings, though some functionality may become unavailable as a result.
3. How we use the information we collect
- To provide the Services you request and keep them working.
- To provide customer service and respond to questions, disputes, and feedback.
- To enforce our terms, agreements, and policies, including monitoring, investigating, and preventing prohibited or illegal activity.
- To send service-related communications such as security notices and account updates (these are not promotional).
- To maintain security, combat spam and malware, and verify identity.
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
- To conduct research and development that improves and builds Services.
- To engage in marketing activities where permitted; you can opt out of marketing communications at any time.
If we use your personal information in any other way, we will disclose it to you. If you choose to limit how we use your personal information, some or all of the Services may not be available to you.
4. How we share your information with third parties
- Service providers: employees, affiliates, and suppliers who operate and support the Services, analyze data, or perform marketing or consulting services, limited to the information necessary for those functions.
- Legal requests and protection of rights: where required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect against fraud, protect our property or rights or those of others, or where we believe the Services have been abused.
- Business transfer or insolvency: in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred; we will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information and the choices you may have.
- Affiliates: with your consent, with our parent, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies.
- Business partners: with your consent, with third-party advertising partners; aggregated, de-identified information may be shared and, in some cases, combined by those parties with other data.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Security
We maintain physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect the confidentiality of your personal information, and we require service providers who handle personal information to do the same. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that loss, misuse, unauthorized acquisition, or alteration will never occur. Keeping your information safe is also your responsibility: choose a long, complex password, keep it confidential, lock your devices, and use trusted network connections.
6. Retention of personal information
We limit retention to the time necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the information was collected, enforce our agreements and policies, resolve disputes, or as required or permitted by law. Marketing information is retained until you unsubscribe, after which your contact information is added to our suppression list. Content and interactions may be retained after account closure for legal defense, audits, and crime prevention purposes. Contact us if you have questions about retention periods.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, email us athello@byadtech.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
8. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International data transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
